The heat makes my skin really bumpy and itchy?

when it's hot at night, my skin gets really red with these little bumps and it itches, mostly on my wrist to elbow, inner thigh, and stomach and hips. but when i wake up it usually goes away. But it makes it really hard to sleep because i'm so itchy. does anyone know if i might have a disease or a cure for this? because i'm starting to get sick from not sleeping, and my skin is really red and you can see where i scratch.

Oh my!

i have the same exact thing!

And my doctor told me its excema!]:

try a hydrocortizone cream 0.5% when it starts itching!
Reply:sounds to me like you are getting a heat rash at night. try some cortizone cream on the areas that itch, i know its hard to do but don't scratch it. scratching it will only make it worse. get a fan and set it up at the end of your bed so that the cool air is blowing on you (set it on a table or dresser if you have to). the cortizone cream will help it to stop itching. You may also want to take a little benadryl before bed to help the itching and redness and it will help you to sleep better. I get heat rashes all the time. Good luck to you. I hope that you feel better soon.
Reply:i have this also occasionally. I find that sleeping with a fan and or above your sheets and covers helps to reduce the chance of the rash. also you can try putting cool washcloths when it starts to itch. also creams work but can make it worse if they have alcohol.
