How to get rid of itchy underarm skin tags?

Don't know why they would itch, But an old fashion painless working remedy my grandmother used - Very thin (thread like) nylon sewing thread or lightest fishing line. Tie around base of skin tag tightly and knot it. After a few days it turns black (due to loss of blood flow keeping the cells alive) then naturally falls off without soreness, bleeding, or infection. As a precaution after it falls off I would use a little antiseptic cream. You can do this to a few at a time/all at once if you have more than one. Hope it helps, it worked for our family for years and still does.

Close your eyes and shave them off.
Reply:i had a skin tag (it didn't itch though) i went to the docs and he froze it, it went black after a couple of days then drop off.... gross!!!!
Reply:Ice cube to numb them. Tweasers to pull them outwards, and surgical siccors to cut from the base. This is how doctors do it anyway, and they charge $100 each to do it. You may need someone to help you, but it isn't easy finding someone willing. Good luck. 10 points please? :-)
Reply:My DH clips them off with a fingernail clipper, which skeeves me out completely. But the doc just slices them off with a thin blade. Then put antibiotic ointment and a bandaid. Don't shave there for awhile.
Reply:Ice it. Wrap fishing line around it. And pull. Apply hydrogen peroxide, antibiotic ointment and bandage.
Reply:ask a doctor for a help
Reply:Since they are in a more sensitive area, I'd probably just go ahead and go to a dermatologist ans have him freeze them off. (cryotherapy). There are some natural home-made remedies you could try, but they take a little longer.
