Any brand that has coco-butter will work.
Reply:SIMPLE BABY OIL CAN DO
Reply:My OB nursing instructor has said that the brand Palmer's is very good and they make a lotion specific for stretch marks. You can get it most anywhere like Wal Mart, CVS, Walgreens, etc. Hope this helps and congratulations on the baby.
Reply:Look for Vitamin E Oil - you can get it at walmart, places like that. The Palmers Brand lotions are good too for stretch marks but Vit E Oil is the best!
Reply:Pure raw (West African) Shea Butter. NOTHING works as well!
Reply:You can't prevent them. It all genetic based on the elasticity of your skin.
Reply:PALMERS COCOA BUTTER LOTION FOR STRETCH MARKS, WORKED FOR MY FRIEND!
Reply:I used the Palmers Stretch Mark Cream with Cocoa Butter, Vit. E, etc. I used it through both of my pregnancies and not a single stretch mark! Yeah! I bought it at wal-mart.
Reply:You can try Bag Balm. The women I know who use it swear by it. They used it when they were pregnant and when they were nursing, but as a guy I don't have any first hand experience, with it that way. Its really good for dry and chapped skin though.
Reply:what i used to do is putting regular (sometimes from the pharmacy, the expensive kind) body oil and i used to put it on right after a bath or shower, so your skin is still wet, you may feel like a fish in a can but i do not have one stretchmarks.U also have to do the process whatever you choose to do, frequently.
Reply:Palmers Cocobutter will sooth them and keep them from being itchy. But there is no cream that will prevent them...its all genetics and how much weight you gain/how big the baby is.

I put on Palmers twice a day, every day from the time I found out I was pregnant....and my poor stomach looks like Freddy Kruger got ahold of me....and I only gained 18lbs so trust me, there is no prevention.
Reply:You can't prevent them. No matter how much cream or lotion you rub on. If you are genetically pre-disposed to getting them, you will. I have 2 kids and each child added more stretch marks. I tried everything. Although, anything with cocoa butter in it will help with itching. Try Palmers, it works well.
Reply:There really isn't anything that will help with stretch marks if you are meant to have them then you will have them....In some books that i have read ....You can prevent itchy skin on your stomach which they say that's what causes stretch marks ( when your belly itches cause it is dry) so use tons of lotion and DO NOT ITCH YOUR GROWING BELLY!!the more you itch it the more you most likely will see marks i lotioned up and i didn't get any stretch marks
Reply:Palmers Cocoa Butter massage lotion for stretch marks worked for me when i was pregnant with my son, and I use it with this pregnancy. It also comes in a cream form, which provides more moisture. Also, when I take a shower, after washing with my regular body wash, I wash my tummy with a little conditioner (any conditioner will work) for extra moisture, and it has kept the itching down. Thanks to this regimen, I have no stretch marks (I'm 32 weeks).
Reply:I have used Pure Coco Butter from Bath and Body Works. Im now 25.5 weeks and only have 3 marks on my thigh...so it seems to have worked. Although its very hard to find because our local Bath and Body doesnt carry it anymore. If you cant find it also try pure shea butter from bath and body..Good Luck!
