Small Itchy Bumps On Skin?

I have small little bumps on my wrists that itch like crazy and ever since then, my whole body has been itchy, does anyone know what it could be? They aren't red or anything just the normal coloe or my skin and I've had them for a couple of weeks already.

Small Itchy Bumps On Skin?
have you switched laundry detergent or your soap? everytime i do, i have the same problem
Reply:go see the doc
Reply:I'd go see a dermatologist, you could possibly have Eczema. (S)he could properly diagnose you and give a treatment plan.
Reply:All of the answers that you have so far are great suggestions. Try cleaning your watchband also as they can get pretty filthy. Also, think about what you've been eating more of recently - is there something that you've been munching on a lot more than usual? Have you started a new medicine or changed products? You can try taking an oatmeal bath (Aveeno?) which may help with the itch. Lower the water temp in your shower too as hot water can cause itchy skin. If all else fails then it's time to see a doctor.
Reply:Have you worn any new jewelry on your wrists? You could be allergic to something, and jewelry is a common culprit. Even if you have not been allergic to something in the past, it's possible to develop new allergies. Think if your skin has come into contact with any new substance recently: a new laundry detergent, soap, fabric softener, etc. Alternatively, your skin could be dry--mine got really dry, and I didn't know it. I broke out in these red patches and saw my dermatologist, and he explained to me that that was what it was. Most people don't know (I didn't) that a lot of body washes can dry out your skin (even if they say they hydrate it!) because they have a lot of chemicals. I've found that the fanciest ones are the worst culprits. The ones that have worked for me: Johnson's baby wash (it smells great!) and the Dove collection of body washes. You might change your body wash brand and try using lotion/oil on your skin. My skin is generally dry, so I use lotion or oil before I go to bed every evening. Bath and Body Works has great-smelling massage oils (I love the jasmine), but for the lotion I've found that less fancy lotions work better: Dove's evening lotion (I can't remember the exact name, but it's a new scent, and it comes in a dark blue bottle) smells great and is really relaxing (and hydrating). I like using basic baby oils too, because they're not expensive, and they smell great. There's a reason babies' skin is so soft! :)

Alternatively, you could have a heat rash on your wrists. Small, itchy bumps are consistent with that. You might have one if you often wear thick watches/bracelets on your wrists. This can cause irritation in your skin because of the sweat that gets caught between the watch and your skin. It's not anything serious, and it's fairly common. If you think this might be what's causing the bumps, clean whatever you've been wearing on your wrists (or throw it away, if it can't be cleaned) and give your wrists some air for a while. If they're itchy, you can use hydrocortisone cream on them to cut down on the itching. Heat rashes (when treated) usually go away fairly quickly. To prevent them, just keep wristwear clean and maybe alternate wearing and not wearing things on your wrist.

I'd recommend trying these things and seeing if they work. If they don't, or if the bumps spread, then go see your dermatologist. Hope this helps!
Reply:I get those kind of bumps when I use excessive cleaning supplies (I used to own my own housekeeping business, so I used them alot).

That might be your problem too.
