My 1 yr old has red dry itchy skin what can i use to ease this problem?

tried alot of stuff like eucerin, aveeno and moisturizing lotion.any ideas?

my dd used to have a problem simular at that age,nothing worked untill i tried diaper rash meds like balmex. i would put it on her after her bath at night since its pastey and white,smells kinda funny too,but it would be gone by morning!a lot of them are to clear the redness but some have a moisterizer in them as well! good luck!
Reply:those have mineral oil, which is hard on baby's skin.





maybe try avocado oil from a natural foods store. it should be fine.





i suggest that you don't use almond oil.. for i'm not sure if any traces of cyanide could be found. an adult could withstand it, but a child, maybe not...
Reply:Aveeno oatmeal bath, lukewarm, not hot. Works every time.
Reply:since ther is itching ,there is a problem take her to a pediatric because this not might be a rach ,it could be food allergy form ,any way some babyz are allergic to pampers for the presence of nylon straps in its .
