Itchy vagina , dry skin? wtf is going on!?

I noticed a few days ago that skin on the inside of my thighs was drying up and peeling off.... thinking okay i got a rash , well now 2 days later i wake up my vaginit on the outside is all red and itchy and its bugging the heck outta me.... is this signs of a yeast infection?

i do have some like white discharge and it sometimes smells ... so i've been using feminin wipes and now i get this?

i don't have health insur. so i can't just up and see a doctor....

is there anything over the counter stuff i could take to stop this?

Definitely sounds like thrush, a yeast infection. You will need to get hold of something like Canesten which you can take as a tablet orally and a pessary vaginally to attack the infection from both ends. Live yoghurt is excellent too. Pay particular attention to hygiene but avoid wipes, just clean warm water, change underwear daily and avoid sexual intercourse until it clears up. Avoiding sugar in the diet helps too as the infection feeds on it.
Reply:Ok a lot of times after your period your vagina is dryer than usuall.

It could also be an STD.

But what you can do is use a tampon and put it in rehular yoghurt(no fruits etc....) just simple plain yoghurt and soak the tampon in it and put in your vagina.Leave it in there for like 2h and the repeat. You should see that its getting better after 24h.-48h.

The yoghurts bacteria are good and will destroy the bacteria in your vagina.Doesnt work on serious STD´s tho.

Only yeast infections and Fungus.
Reply:possibly you are allergic to the feminine wipes! i would get some frangrance free soaps that are VERY hypoallergenic and try those for a week or two. you might want to try taking an over the counter antihistamine too and see if the itching and rash are helped.
Reply:Go to the doctors. If you have no health insurance, then go to your local hospital. Many things can cause these symptoms. Have you ever been tested for diabetes? Someone said std, how sexually active are you that std can be a concern? It could very well be a simple yeast infection, check your local pharmacy and see what they have for yeast infection treatment. I still do recommend going to a hospital or clinic and get a real diagnosis.
