Reply:Try Keri lotion or Aveeno products.
Reply:I use Shea Butter! I also use Vaseline petroleum jelly (cheap and works wonders) at night.

Some nice homemade formulas below:

Reply:Before you towel off/exit the shower use baby lotion on all parts, especially elbows, feet and legs. This helps in a number of ways, but especially the sealing in of moisture on the skin. Has worked great for me!

Also, I suggest using "Caress" soap, it's very soothing and moisturizing, not drying like other soaps.
Reply:Olay's skin moisterizer for exstreemly dry skin works great
Reply:try using E 45 cream
Reply:I like Aveeno's products. Also Gold Bond has an anti-itch formula that contains menthol that really helps with the itching for the short term.

If it's really, really bad you may need something with a prescription from a dermatologist. But try something over the counter first.

Anything with a skin protectant (dimethicone) in it is good because it should help it from getting worse while it heals.
Reply:Try Aveeno, it helps
Reply:YOU CAN USE AVEENO PRODUCTS...THAT REALLY HELPS MY SiSTER W/ SENSATiVE SKiN. AND AFTER YOU GET OUT THE BATH OR SHOWER "ALWAYS" PUT VASELiNE ON. YOU SHOULD BE COOL AFTER THAT
Reply:FINALLY SOMEONE ASKS THIS QUESTION, THAT I have been fighting with, is dry n' itchin' skin on arms/legs/back....Ahem, someone pointed out Baby lotion...BUT......UMM, I ended up buying baby lotion that has a lavendar scent in it...For some reason it calms my shot nerves from scratching my skin raw from the endless itch.

I am aware of dry air can cause that too, and too hot showers also. So I try to kewl it on hot showers and not dry myself too hard after showering....

Think this helps....???
