How do you treat dry itchy skin on your face?

At least I think you would call it 'dry skin.' Basically, there's no cracking skin or redness, but much of my face itches like crazy! And some of the rest of my body as well....I seem to recall this happening the last few winters as well.

Reply:if it has happened before, i would deffinetly recommend seeing a dermatologist .. maybe there is some sort of prescription they can givve you .. other thatn that, i'd say load up on moisturizing cream.. lol
Reply:I'd recommend E45 cream - helps with dry itchy skin and has no colourings or perfumes that can irritate. This might be worse for you in winter as heating and fires will dry your skin out more. I'd visit the doctor if I was you for a professional opinion - maybe you have an allergy and need some antihistamines. Hope you get it sorted!

Reply:Winter air lacks moisture,so the dry winter air and warm cloths usually cause skin 2 get itchy.its not a serious problem,its very comman during winter,specially with ppl having dry skin.seems like your skin type is dry.


For you face - u need 2 scrub ur face nicely using a face scrub thats specially for dry skin,u can do it alternate days,untill ur skin stops itching.use a nice moisturizer again tats specially for dry skin.use it everytime after u have washed ur face and b4 goin out.


For your body - u can use body scrubs once a week,this will remove the dry dead skin.Apply nice body moisturizer on ur body immidately after shower,use vasline or any petroleum jelly...its little greasy but does wonders....u can even apply vasline on face during bed time.
