What causes itchy skin?

Most itchy skin (without any rashes, bumps or lesions) is caused simply by dryness. If you don't already, use a moisturizer daily. If you do and are still dry, find a different moisturizer. If the dryness continues to be a problem, see a doctor to rule out illness and a dermatologist for some prescription moisturizer.

What causes itchy skin?
Dirty Body....or eczema.
Reply:Your skin can be itchy for some different reasons. One if your allergic to something and you have a rash, causing it to itch. Bug bites can cause it to itch as well. You can also have dry skin, lotion does the trick to make it not so itchy.
Reply:lack of moisture in the environment and your diet.
Reply:A variety of reasons. Medication can cause itchy skin. Not bathing can cause itchy skin. Certain skin conditions can cause itchy skin. Not drinking enough water can cause itchy skin. Cold weather can cause itchy skin. The hot sun can cause itchy skin. To much wind can cause itchy skin. Using to much powder can cause itchy skin. Dry air can cause itchy skin. There are many things that can cause itchy skin. My recommendation is to eat right, drink water, bath regular, use a moisturizer in winter %26amp; add some sunblock in summer.
