What causes itchy skin after taking a shower?

I would suspect first of all, the brand of soap you use is either causing your skin to dry out or you might simply be allergic to it.





I say that from my own personal experience.


There is only ONE soap I've found during my lifetime that I simply cannot use, and that's Ivory bar soap. Anything else


(I use Zest) is not a problem but, Ivory causes my skin to itch all over after a shower (of course, it's been years since the last time I used it, so why should I use it now if it's going to make me itch?).





Try changing your brand of soap to start with and then your shampoo, conditioner, etc. (even the laundry soap you wash your towels with) until you've found the cause of the itching.

if its a hot shower you are having you could have eczhema or you could have psoarisis... or you're just creepily itchy.
