What lotion is best for itchy skin while pregnant?

Since being pregnant when I shave now I get really itchy, and am wondering what lotion to buy. I was thinking about those Gold Bond kinds, but have to go shopping still and check em all out.

What lotion is best for itchy skin while pregnant?
i like the gold bonds itch creme - it isn't a lotion but a relief creme (like cortizon).

i also like aquaphor (spellign i probably wrong) - i used it as a night treatment for my "chicken skin" arms - it is greasy but works.
Reply:Buy cocoa butter or shea butter.
Reply:Cocoa butter is good. I use Gold Bond and it works wonders. It also doesn't have a really strong scent, which is nice since your sense of smell is heightened during pregnancy.
Reply:My wife gave me four children. Each time she used something that had vitamin E in it. Seem to remember she liked it.
Reply:I use Palmers they have a whole line of lotions. But did you try vasoline?
Reply:Anything by Aveeno but why not try baby lotions as you'll be needing them soon anyway?
Reply:Much like another answerer on here, I love using Aveeno baby lotion on my dry skin. I find anything that has a lot of fragrance irritating. A dermatologist told me that the best thing for my two year old son's eczema is vaseline - so this is probably also a good choice for your itchy sensitive skin
Reply:Yea, try Coco Butter or Aveeno. They usually do the trick for me, i am 26 weeks and my belly constantly itches!

Good Luck
Reply:Mother's Intuition Tummy Honey Butter. It feels so good! It is supopsed to help prevent stretch marks. I don't know about that but I know that I have been using it every night now for over half of my pregnancy and the only days I itch are when I forget to put it on before I go to bed. I am almost 36 weeks with no itchy belly or stretch marks though =0)
Reply:i like any of the caseline intensive care ones.. especially the vit e and cocoa butter one
Reply:Even though the stretch mark lotion doesn't work for stretch marks, it does work very well for itchy bellies.
