NO. it might irritate it. Use only petrolium jelly.

Reply:it helps once the area has healed. i used it on the staples in my arm and my mom used it after her surgery. it cuts down on the scarring. if you have any questions i would ask the doctor just to be sure. i know when my dad got a tattoo recently they told him to use cocoa butter on it.
