Itchy skin with little bumps?

I'm 29 weeks pregnant and a couple days ago I got a little rash on my hand and it was very itchy. Now it's on both hands and all over my stomach. They are tiny little white bumps. Has anybody ever had this? Is it normal? I go to the doctor in a couple days but I need advice now. It's too late to call the doctor and I don't want to go to the hospital. If you have experienced it please give me some more information. Thank you

i'm pretty sure it's PUPPP.. i have the same thing. from one day to the next i got this horrible rash on my chest and stomach. i was itching like crazy!!! this is my first pregnancy so i didn't know what to expect, i thought i was allergic to something, but i did my research and then talked to my doctor. it's gone down, but i'm still itchy from time to time. i found that using caladryl helped soothe it. and using a lot of lotion. and laying in the tub with warm water helped too. that's just me. everyone is different. the doctor might give you some type of medicine :) good luck

Reply:my sister had something like that before. it was called muscumcontageosum or something, dont worry though, its nothign too bad, just dont itch cuz if u do then it will elave scars, if it is the same thing anyway. the more u itch the more it spreads. if u do itch wash your hands right away.
Reply:i had that with my son its just a skin rash something woman go through because of the hormones it spread from time to time comes and goes nothing a little hydrocordazone cant take care of
Reply:I would deffinatley get checked out. there is a pregnancy symptom called PUPPP that is common in pregnancys, I have little red bumps all over my stomach that itch, but not my hands. good luck
Reply:could be a staff infection (mrsa) or allergic reaction try some allergy medicine

Reply:Yeah I think I had that once, it was incredibly itchy. I went to the docters and they said it was fine and it would clear up in a few days i think it was something to do with the fact i had just got over the cold at the time
Reply:I'm 16 almost 17 weeks and have a rash on my stomache and thighs. I don't have much help as I am trying to decide if I want to wait and go to my appointment or try to get into to see the doctor earlier.





From what I've googled, the rashes seems quite normal in the second and thrid trimester, annoying but normal.





If the itching keeps up or gets to bad, try taking a benedryl which was what I was told to take during my last pregnancy for hives.
